Shop Talk - This Week at 7 Ton Co.

Here's a snapshot of what we're working on and what's new in our Asheville studio.

7 ton co prints

We've cranked out several new prints in the past few weeks including our Appalachian Botanical Prints (Left) that feature some of our favorite local flora with hand drawn illustrations and Large Mountain Prints (Right) - 6 layers of letterpress goodness.

7 ton co coffee prints

Since we are pretty avid coffee lovers at the shop it was only a matter of time until these two new 8x10 letterpress prints emerged. They have hand drawn illustrations and are printed in two runs on soft cotton paper. Perk Up! (Left) & I Have Nothing Left to Give You. (Right)

7 ton co yallsome

These 3/1 letterpress business cards were printed on sturdy kraft paper for the great folks over at Y'allsome. All Y’allsome products are made using southern businesses and 15% of the profits from the sale of each product goes to help southern foster kids find permanent homes.

7 ton co asheville on bikes

Asheville on Bikes hosted a Button up Birthday Soiree to fundraise for the coming year. We designed and managed the printing of the invites - printed silver on black paired with an eye-catching bright red envelope.

7 ton co bookbinding

We've sewn quite a few leather journals this season. Each is unique and hand bound. They can be purchased at our brick and mortar, or our online shop.

7 ton marketing

Die cut hexagon + letterpress printed self promotional pieces to leave behind with our clients.

7 ton holiday

This year we printed 4 different holiday card designs to spread some holiday cheer snail mail style. This 'Merry and Bright' version was printed in transparent white ink on textured cotton paper.

7 ton co - save the dates

Modern + Vintage save the dates for a Colorado wedding. Letterpress printed in 2 colors on soft white paper.

7 ton co craft shows

Prints and paper goods for sale at our booth at The Big Crafty and our neighbor Nick Moen's wares (left). Handbound books in an old school locker box (right).

7 ton co pie day

It has been a busy season! After all of our craft shows wrapped up we treated ourselves to a day long pie making workshop at Smoke Signals Bakery and made delicious apple pies with the lovely Tara in Marshall, NC.
