Here's a snapshot of what we're working on and what's new in our Asheville studio
Stay cool! We spend a lot of time, maybe too much time, talking about sweet cool treats at the shop. We decided a good outlet for some of that energy might be to print a notecard with some of our favorites. Two color letterpress printing on Sno-Cone Blue French Paper.
Ele on press printing peach ink on blue paper. We have a reputation for printing and designing in grey tones... this picture is living proof that's not always the case.
One color letterpress printed business card for Charlotte Autry. Opposite edge rounded corners. Soft cotton paper. Designed and printed in-house.
These soft yellow and grey letterpress bridal shower invitations with matching RSVPs were also on press this week.
We did a logo refresh and secondary logo design for one of our favorite companies / people in town, Shelter. Karie and Rob approach every project with both intention and attention, in a way that we very much admire.
The Big Crafty is sneaking up and in preparation we've been busy binding books this week. The event is Sunday July 12, from 12-6 at the Asheville Art Museum. In addition to these leather longstitch books we'll be selling prints, stationery, cards, and other paper goods.
Aerial shot of a bookbinding session, bits of waxed linen cord everywhere!
